Good morning one and all!
Are you new? Are you pretending to be new? Would you like to be new, if only it were possible? Well, have no fear. Just introduce yourself here, and everyone will pretend, at least for a few minutes, that they've never seen you before. Bask in the warmth of the welcome! Gasp at the sheer number of posts saying "Hi!" It's.... the Imoholics Anonymous welcome-thread!!
I'll start.
*ahem*
Hi, everyone!I'm Taig, aka TC Dale, formerly known as Jashan (if you remember me from the Imoen boards way back then). You can call me Jashan, Taig, or TC -- whichever you want, I'm not picky. I am (for better or worse) your new Forum God and moderator. Lord Mirrabbo (with Imoen's blessing) handed over control of things to me since I'm a wretched little internet addict who enjoys Baldur's Gate way more than should be humanly possible. I've been a part of the Imoen Romance community since *before it was launched* (what is that? like 10 years?) and acted as a beta-tester and proof-reader for both SOA and TOB. I used to run the Creative Spot, and I'm the only known living creature who knows the mysterious rituals necessary to contact Lord Mirrabbo.
I'm an American currently living in Belgium. Ik spreek nederlands, in het geval dat je nederlandstalig bent en met iemand in uw moedertaal wilt babbelen. But most of the time I speak English. I write stories. You can find them at
http://www.tcdale.com. This includes lots of Imoen-related stories, including the fan novelization of the Imoen Romance,
"Crumbling Down". Some of it's pretty adult, though, so don't visit unless you like that kind of stuff.
In my spare time I write (even more), do freelance web design, and study and create imaginary languages. I like Bioware games. I roleplaying in D&D 3.5 but I don't like 4e. I make awesome soups and can cook Tex-Mex like you wouldn't believe.
That's me. Next?
